"The Energy We Create Is The Energy We Partake"
written by Andreal Mallard, Sr. "The Eliminator"
At the beginning of this program we learned how to make valued decisions. The choice between making the right and wrong decision to set you on the path of the road map to success. Over the past 12 weeks strategic steps have been discussed on how to get there however as we come to an end, there is one choice you must make in reaching the goal! What moves are you going to make to create a change in your life.
Some of us are forced to change, and some get the opportunity to make a choice to change and in this message we get to look change straight in the eyes and push ourselves to the essence of what that change looks like. At some point and tine everyone has to change, whether it's for the good or the bad, change is inevitable and requires growth.
Maybe its the style of clothes you wear, maybe its the way you carry yourself, maybe its a new home and or lifestyle, or maybe its the music you listen to. Pushing yourself to be the best version of you requires the ability to adapt to change! Making better grades, keeping your room clean, doing your chores without being told are a few of the changes we can choose to make as we grow and mature into becoming young adults. Many of our students will be going to high school from middle school and that is a change that can be a struggle or no challenge at all of we are prepared and making the right moves to embrace levels of growth.
As for adults as well, some of us have to change. How we discipline, how we interact with our youth, understanding new ways of thinking, and dealing effectively with conflict resolution skill building. Many adults of today grew up with the do what i say parental diagram and our parents never really explained to us the value of "the why" the cause and effect, and became rebellious as we gradually moved out of our parents supervision into becoming full time adults. Some bumped their head in the road, and some just basically understood the value, taking many of us on a journey called life, that as awe look back often times we say, i wish i could have done it different!
At this point we are now able to grow into being the best version of self! Some will choose to go to college, some will go to the armed forces, some will become Entrepreneurs and Community leaders and some will make choices that will be detrimental to their future. Either way, the choice is yours and ultimately at the end of the day the choice we make is the road we take. In this final session, i encourage you as young growing adults to make the right choice and stand on the choice of being an advocate for motivation for change! Remember, the energy we create is the energy we partake and to break cycles and build bridges, we must educate The Mind, elevate the spirit to eliminate the Stereotype! #EEEsUp
